Time:
One Aspect of the Relationship
If we never speak to our wives or husbands
or never listen to anything they have to say, then our marriages won’t last
long. Relationships are built by spending time together and talking.
It is the same way with God and prayer
– communicating with God - helps us grow closer and more intimately connected
with Him.
Prayer can be the cry of the human
heart to the living God who created us and who is in control of the universe… It
can be the voice of a child going to God in absolute innocence… When we pray we
are inviting God into our busy lives.
If people talked to God
as often as they talk on their cell phones the world couldn’t possibly be as messed up as it is today.
Spend some time talking
to God today and treasure the relationship journey with Him.
