Ministers Need Someone Too...

How's your minister doing?
No, I don't mean are they doing a good job - I mean how are they doing in stressful times.

Let's face it, ministers, pastors/elders/shepherds - whatever official role or "title"our church leaders have or fill, they need checking on too. These folks have hard jobs anyway - they worry about God's people, the church, even in "normal" times.

In describing many of the very tough things the apostle Paul endured in his life worrying about the people was foremost in his mind....

...Not to mention other things, there is the daily pressure on me: my care for all the churches.
(2nd Corinthians 11:28 CSB)

Our church leaders constantly deal with tough issues - most of the time we "regular" church members never know about or even consider, but now during public health concerns they have had to make tough decisions that most of them never considered - the suspension of open worship services.
I know this weighs heavily on their minds.

Lets give our leaders a wellness call and let them know that we appreciate them and their work for us. Oh, and don't forget to pray for them - calling on GOD's care for them.

...Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing. Now we ask you, brothers, to give recognition to those who labor among you and lead you in the Lord and admonish you, and to regard them very highly in love because of their work.
(1st Thess 5:11-13 CSB)

During your journey with GOD - remember these words from the apostle.... So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don't give up. (Gal 6:9 CSB)

Thanking Jesus for every good thing,

Paul.
